CLEVELANDThe Telos VX Broadcast phone systems provide operational power, flexible, adaptable workflows and audio quality on an IP backbone, and now Telos Systems is giving that ability to smaller facilities. The Telos VX Prime Broadcast IP telephone system was designed for smaller facilities, generally with two to four studios.
The VX Prime features native support for the G.722 HD Voice codec, Smart AGC for consistent audio levels, and Dynamic Digital EQ by Omnia to automatically adjust EQ.
The phone system can be connected to an existing Livewire network through a single Ethernet cable to the VX Prime engine and adding networked Telos VSet phones. Non-Livewire studios can use a Telos Multipurpose Node for audio and GPIO connectivity to studio consoles. Phone hybrids are provided to each studio, without the need for additional wiring or physical audio connections.
Telos reports that there is no restriction to the number of SIP lines or phone numbers that can come into the VX Prime system. The number of hybrid/faders is fixed at eight.
The Telos VX Prime Broadcast IP telephone system is now available.
