The LXE is Wheatstones new IP audio console for use with the WheatNet-IP audio network. It is a AES67-compatible network system with end-to-end audio transport, logic control and an audio toolkit at every I/O point in the network. The units architecture features pull-down configuration software that allows switches to be programmed for function, mode and color. The system can also have up to 32 physical motorized faders and comes with a new touchscreen GUI.

The company will also introduce its AirAura X1 spectral audio processor, shown at right. The AirAura X1 uses the AirAura X3 algorithms for volume control, as well as other technology like a distortion-managed final clipper; five-band iAGC section; 31 limiter bands; the Vorsis Bass tools system; multipath control; smart stereo enhancement; and Wheatstone Baseband192.

After acquiring the VoxPro digital record/editor from Audion Labs last October, Wheatstone is set to unveil its new VoxPro 6 audio recorder/editor/playback system designed for live, on-air operation. Upgrades to the system include the ability to simultaneously record audio while editing or playing back other audio; a Gap-Buster function to remove silence; Hotkey and Marker labels support; and the ability to hide Editor and File List to reduce on-screen clutter.

Wheatstone will display all of these new systems at its booth, N2530, during the 2016 NAB Show.
