INDIANAPOLIS�The Society of Broadcast Engineers will host their next webinar Sept. 24, 2-3 p.m.

Alan Jurison

Its subject will be �Field Observations of Elevated FM HD (IBOC) Power Levels,� with Alan Jurison acting as presenter. Jurison, CSRE, AMD, DRB, CBNE, is a senior operations engineer in the corporate Engineering and Systems Integration Group of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. He has been in the radio industry for 20 years and offers his perspective on the convergence of IT and broadcast engineering.

The SBE says the session will focus on the benefits and shortcomings of elevated digital power from an engineering perspective, as well as coverage and performance at various power levels.

The completion of this webinar qualifies for 1 credit, identified under Category I of the Recertification Schedule for SBE Certifications.

Registration is available online at the SBE website. Attendance costs $49 for members and $80 for nonmembers.
