WorldDAB Announces Speakers for DAB Session at European Radio Show

LONDON �WorldDAB has announced a panel of international speakers for the digital radio session at the European Radio Show, which will take place�Jan. 29-31 in Paris.�

�A vision for the future of radio: DAB+ in Europe� will be held Jan. 31�from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature broadcasters, regulators and digital radio experts from across Europe.

Speakers include:

  • �France: J-E Valli, Pr�sident, Les Ind�s Radios and Jean-Marc Dubreuil, WorldDAB (France)
  • �UK: Jimmy Buckland from Wireless Group and Jonathan Arendt from Jazz FM
  • �Norway: J�rn Jensen from NRK
  • �Switzerland: Marcel Regnotto, Ofcom
  • �Germany: Carsten Zorger, Digitalradio B�ro Deutschland
  • �Netherlands: Jacqueline Bierhorst from Digital Radio Netherlands

DAB continues to go from strength to strength across Europe. Spectrum has been allocated for DAB+ in Ukraine, and services have recently started in Latvia and Slovenia. With increasing political momentum in Germany, expanded DAB+ coverage in The Netherlands and new cities launching in France this year, 2017 is set to be a big year for DAB.
